I don't know who on here is a Volvo fan, but I am and I thought I'd just give everyone a heads up. It's no Mustang, but I think it's just as cool, and man is it a looker. I mean, it's easily the best looking crossover out right now.
Families rejoice!

If I needed a larger vehicle, this would be the one I'd get.

Hmmmm, This I like. Now for a Strip Pole Star, with a manual.

YES! I can't wait for the T8's to ship. 400HP Volvo SUV should be invigorating. I want a manual, but I know that's never happening. I'm pretty sure the Cayenne was the last manual SUV, and Porsche just killed that, too. :/

They've already killed the manual Cayenne? Dammit.
It probably won't happen since Volvo hasn't offered a manual transmission for a few years now on anything.

Yeah, I'm no where need in the market for a vehicle like this, but if I was, I'd be all over it.

Sadly, yes. They killed it in both the Cayenne and the Panamera all in the mind of sales and profit. Damn bean counters...
In the states, yeah, you can't get a Vo with a manual transmission, sadly. Meanwhile, in Europe you can get a XC70 with a stick. WTH?!
![]() 11/18/2014 at 21:08 |

Since when did the Panamera even have a stick, Haha.

So futuristic!

Seriously how many other cars can you buy where the headlights are the fucking hammer of thor

According to the knower-of-all-things Doug DeMuro, at one point in time Porsche did sell a Panamera with a stick . Just not here..

Oh, Haha. I see.

And people say the Swedes don't have a sense of humor..

Well, if Volvo keeps the same plan the had with the previous gen, it'll be on sale for the next 1000 years. Still, like all Volvo's it will never look old.

Went to the configurator to see if red was still available, as it is the best color for an XC-90.
Came back pleasantly satisfied

While I am usually not a big fan of red, I do like the XC90 in red. There are a lot of good colors for the XC. The Onyx Black and Crystal White ooze luxury like always, I'm a fan of blue, so I love the Bursting Blue, and the Electric Silver and Osmium Grey appear to have a matte finish which if they do is so badass. I am pleasantly surprised by the color selection as most posh SUV's tend to stick with 50 shades of grey.

I can be happy with pretty much anything that isn't silver or grey.

The last great Volvo car with a manual was the V70R... It also had 300hp.

As much as I'd do dirty things to a V70R, The C30 R-Design Polestar was a great car. 50Hp down from yours, But still an overall sexy car.

If only Volvo and Polestar had added HALDEX to the C30...

And Spaceball.

Spaceball best ball.

NO SPACEBALL, NO HAPPY.
![]() 12/29/2014 at 22:16 |

Indeed. I love my spaceball equipped wagon.

I'd love an S60R or V70R with the spaceball. Sounds like they're pretty reliable from looking back at your posts.

Hahaha maybe? Everything breaks on a schedule lol. Kinda.
![]() 12/29/2014 at 22:22 |

Haha, So to a person who has exclusively owned German cars would you call it reliable alongside them? Lol.

Let me put it this way... I used to only own Land Rovers... They're pretty reliable by my standards.

I'm a little bit scared now, Haha.
